My experience and role at WECONA event as CE student volunteer

 Women Economic Assembly(WECONA). Private sector, civil society and women's organizations, businesswomen and government partnered together to form WECONA, an initiative to facilitate the participation of women-owned business in core areas of the economy.This initiative emphasises the participation of women-owned enterprises on the entire value chain to foster sustainable economic development. On the 05th and 6th of October 2022, I attended Women Economic Assembly(WECONA) event that was held on the Derpartment of International Relations and Corporate at Pretoria. I was very lucky to be one of seven UJ Community Engagement students volunteers who were selected on the 4th of October to go and prepare for events and this includes; branding, program and others things related to event. Conspiracy theory on covid-19

  Together As One is a non-governmental organization that was created to inform the public about the effects and danger of the conspiracy theory on Covid-19. At the end of 2019 there was a breakout of a deadly disease in China called coronavirus and the news was spread worldwide where people thought it was nothing. The virus was spreading worldwide in the fastest speed where millions of people lost their lives due to the virus. Social media were the main source of conspiracy theory as lot of misinformation were shared via social media platforms. There were lot of conspiracy theory about Covid-19 because lot of people were saying that the virus is caused by 5G network. (Wasim et al.2020) states that the popular theory has linked 5G to the spread of Covid-19 leading to misinformation and the burning of 5G tower in the United Kingdom (1).
